Her extensive tenure in public service with the Greater Taung Local Municipality began with her role as the ANC’s Ward 20 Councillor and a member of the Community Services and Local Economic Development (LED) Portfolio Committee during the 2011 – 2016 Term of Council. She continued her dedication as an ANC Proportional Representative (PR) Councillor and member of both the Infrastructure and Human Settlement Portfolio Committees throughout the 2016 – 2021 term. Following her re-election as a PR Councillor in the 2021 Local Government Elections, she was appointed as the Chairperson of Local Economic Development for GTLM in November 2021, where she now champions community-focused economic growth and development.
