Cllr. Linda Mabengwane

Trained in Public Administration, Auxiliary Social Work, Computer Literacy, and NQF Level 5 Municipal Governance, she brings a robust and diverse skill set to her role in public service. She served the Greater Taung Local Municipality as the EFF’s Proportional Representative (PR) Councillor during the 2016 – 2021 Term of Council, where she was a member of the Infrastructure Portfolio Committee and also held the key position of Chairperson of the Local Economic Development Portfolio Committee. Following her re-election as a PR Councillor for the EFF in the 2021 Local Government Elections, she was appointed as the Chairperson of Human Settlement & Spatial Planning for GTLM in November 2021, where she now applies her expertise to guide sustainable community development and planning.
