Cllr. Mika Moeti

With a long-standing and diverse record of fiscal oversight and governance, he has served the Greater Taung Local Municipality across multiple terms, beginning as an ANC Proportional Representative (PR) Councillor and Member of the Finance Portfolio Committee during part of the 2011–2016 Term of Council. He continued his service as a PR Councillor for the Forum for Service Delivery during part of the 2016–2021 term, while also contributing as a member of both the Finance and Infrastructure Portfolio Committees as well as the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC). Following his re-election as a PR Councillor for the Forum for Service Delivery in the 2021 Local Government Elections, he was appointed Chairperson of Finance for GTLM in November 2021, where he now applies his extensive experience to steward the municipality’s financial strategy and integrity.
